BIO
Justin Renaissance is a pop-rock singer, songwriter and performer who grew up in a conservative NJ town. Their music carries power vocals, melodies and story from the likes of Jon Bon Jovi while the music embodies a more current pop artistry of Lady Gaga and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Focused on a mission of inspiring courage, hope and unity, Justin’s influences come from a range of rock, pop and electronic artists including: Walk the Moon, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Ricky Martin, Neon Trees and George Michael.
From NJ to Philadelphia, LA to San Diego, San Francisco and Moscow Russia; Justin has performed throughout their career on stages with crowds over 20,000 and intimate Cabaret theaters. Most notable performance venues were at Gorky Park Amphitheatre (Moscow), Canyon Club (Santa Clarita), House of Blues (Hollywood), weekly jams at the Viper Room (Hollywood) and more recently debuted San Diego with the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus at the Balboa Theatre, Martini’s on 4th and Diversionary Theatre.
Justin launched their first live performance of six original songs from debut album “Once is Never Enough” on July 15th with a sold-out fundraiser for Deaf Community Services as a kick-off to the 2022 San Diego Pride Festival- raising over $3700 for this local organization. Their music was featured on several episodes of the new queer comedy series, Open To It, now being streamed on Vimeo and YouTube.
Justin's 2023 Single release, A NEW HERO, generated over 65k streams on Spotify after a nearly sold out show on June 15th at The Merrow in Hillcrest. This was followed by the headlining slot at San Diego's Hillcrest City Fest in August, as well as raising $1000 via Instagram for the North County LGBTQ Resource Center's Diamond & Denim Gala in September where they closed out the night joining host Jai Rodriguez, Chad Michaels, Paris Sukomi-Max and other local drag superstars.
At the start of 2024 Justin dropped his World Premiere Music Video for ACCESSORY generating over 450 YouTube Views."Pride Song", Justin's March 1st 2024 EP release ignites a new Pop-Rock anthem featuring 3 unique House-Techno remixes creating a celebration vibe to be played at Pride Festivals around the world. Already over 100,000 Spotify streams, charting in Toronto Canada, featured on The Pulse San Diego for over 3 million Southern California viewers, and this is just the beginning... New music videos, more music and live shows in the works!
